About
"The interdependency of humankind, the relevance of relationship, the sacredness of creation is ancient, ancient wisdom." - Rebecca Adamson
My name is Adam Gonnerman, and in 2017 I was formally endorsed as a Celebrant by The Humanist Society. I am a graduate of Harding University, in Searcy, Arkansas, having received the Bachelor of Ministry (BMin) degree in 1999. In 2020 I earned a Master of Arts in Project Management through Avila University, located in Kansas City, Missouri. Currently I am enrolled at Rivier University, working toward a Master of Science in Computer Information Systems, and am also taking graduate divinity courses through Starr King School for the Ministry.
In 2022 I created Dijiwan Ceremonies as a way to organize my service as an officiant. I live in New Jersey and am focused primarily on officiating ceremonies and providing pastoral support in this state, although I can be available on a limited basis to people in other locations.
My goal is to be your minister without church or dogma. If we connect through a ceremony and later you find yourself in need of spiritual care or pastoral support during a crisis, I will be there for you. On the other hand, if all you need is a wedding or other ritual event, no worries.
There is a fee for my officiating services, but not for pastoral support. I offer a few packages and some special deals, but I don’t want to turn anyone away on account of financial issues beyond their control. If that’s your case, contact me, explain the situation, and we’ll work it out.
I am looking forward to hearing from you!
